Jenice Murray (2159––) was a member of the Freedom Coalition Space Fleet and Executive Officer of the Lilith's Omen. She was an organized, duty-driven officer, with a variety of talents that made her the perfect first officer for the special-ops corvette.
Personality[]
Having served in the Coalition Space Fleet for many years, Jenice had developed the classic navy-girl personality; that of a polished, duty driven commander with just the right touch of empathy. She was the voice of order and duty, keeping the small crew of Lilith's Omen in line and making sure that her commanding officer's orders were carried out to the letter. Where Captain Metler was the man giving the orders, she was the one to pressure her department heads and enlisted to work twice as hard as the Captain expected, while also hearing out concerns and offering reasonable solutions.
Out of uniform, she had a quirky, fun loving attitude, but it remained mostly hidden behind her uniform while on duty.
Special Talents[]
In addition to her experience and skill as an executive officer, she was skilled in field medicine and could serve in a pinch as the medical officer aboard a spacecraft. Her real talent, however, lay in stellar cartography. Given the right resources and a good star chart, she could plot out the most difficult of jump routes, and even without technology, she had a talent for picking out star systems and star patterns using her two eyes and a sense of three-dimensional memory.
She was also proficient with hand-to-hand combat and marksmanship.
Biography[]
Jenice Murray was born in 2159 on Animus IV. After asttending three years of medical school, she enlisted in the Coalition Space Fleet at the ripe young age of 20 (2179). Three years later, she graduated from the academy and was assigned to CSC Lilith's Omen as a medical assistant.
During the Centauri War of 2190, Lilith's Omen barely escaped from the battle intact, and had suffered many casualties, including the vessel's Executive Officer. She was promoted to the position after displaying her leadership and organizational abilities in conducting a triage operation that saved almost all of their casualties. Not long after she and Alan Metler began working together more closely, a secret romance began to blossom.
