Provincial Marshal was a governing rank used by LOPO. This person was responsible for governing a region of a planet or heavily populated moon or colony. The Provinicial Marshals reported directly to the Planetary Governor (or Governor) superior to them.
An example would be the Marshal of the Australian Province on Earth.
