Sub-Colonel

Sub-Colonel was an army rank used by the Legion Army. It was usually reserved for the Executive Officer of a brigade or a battalion, and would answer directly to the Colonel. However, there were rare occasions where the needs of a brigade or a battalion required more than one Sub-Colonel, who would then act as assistants for the Command Staff.
